Our purpose
Tu Tangata Tu Manawa has been developed and written because there is a specific need for some of our Rangatahi that is not being met. Tu Tangata Tu Manawa is designed to start from the foundation of a person, and give them the tools to start to build a stronger foundation to provide better opportunities for themselves and whanau.
Our mission statement
Tu Tangata Tu Manawa mission is to break down barriers for our Rangatahi to help them discover their true potential by reconnecting with themselves, whanau, marae, hapu and whenua. Inspire confidence, values, and belief, to help them navigate a better pathway for their future.
Our vision statement
We believe in one common goal which is to create better people for our communities. This will be done by providing positive opportunities for our Rangatahi to develop Skills and Knowledge. Reconnecting with their self, whanau community and marae. The whenua and surrounding areas are going to be a key aspect to create change within themselves.
